If the market is positive, Skoda will bring more EV models to India in the future.

The Skoda Enyaq iV will be the brand's first all-electric model in India. The electric SUV is likely to be launched by March 2024.

According to Petr Solc, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India, the carmaker will bring the Enyaq iV to India in the current fiscal year to test the market. If the market is positive, Skoda will bring more EV models in the future.

The Skoda Enyaq iV is based on the MEB platform. The electric SUV is expected to come with a 77 kWh battery pack paired with dual electric motors, producing a combined output of 265 BHP. It is said to offer a maximum range of 513 km (WLTP cycle). Skoda might also bring the lower-spec 2WD variant to India.

In India, Skoda could offer the Enyaq iV in Lounge trim. This variant comes with Skoda's Anodised Cross Decor, 19-inch Proteus alloy wheels, a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a digital instrument cluster, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and leather and microfibre fabric upholstery with contrast stitching.
