SCOOP: Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift spied inside out!

Here are pictures of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift. These images give us a good look at of some of the changes that Maruti has made to the car. On the exterior we find a tweaked front bumper with L-shaped silver inserts lining the fog lamp housings and alloy wheels of a new design. Coming to the interiors and equipment, Maruti has provided a keyless entry and go (engine start / stop button).

Other features that Maruti is likely to include in the Swift facelift are day-time running lights, one-touch up / down window for the driver, updated infotainment system, reverse parking sensors and electrically retracting ORVMs. We also have confirmed news that the car will recieve an automatic gearbox.

Engine options for the Swift are likely to remain the same as the current model:

• 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol, 86 bhp @ 6200 rpm, 114 Nm @ 4000 rpm
• 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder diesel, 74 bhp @ 4000 rpm, 190 Nm @ 2000 rpm

Maruti Suzuki is likely to launch the Swift facelift during Diwali.
