Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift: variants and details leaked

Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the Swift facelift soon. The company recently started accepting bookings for the car. Now the details of the various trim levels of the Swift have been leaked. Here's a look at some of the features that will be available on the different variants.

Like most Maruti products, the Swift will be available in three trim levels - L (base), V (mid) and Z (top). All the variants will get height adjustable driver seats. The V trim level cars (VXi and VDi) will get an integrated music system and four speakers. The V and Z variants will get electrically retracting wing mirrors and L-shaped silver inserts on the front fog lamp housings. LED daytime running lights will not be available. The Z trim level cars (ZXi and ZDi) will get keyless entry and go (start / stop button), Bluetooth connectivity and reverse parking sensors.

While the engine options are expected to remain the same as the current car, Maruti is rumoured to have altered the power and torque outputs of the engines to improve fuel efficiency. An automatic transmission is also expected to make an appearance in the Swift.
