Rumour: Tata Harrier EV enters alpha testing phase

Rumours suggest, the Harrier EV could be launched by mid-2023.

Last year, Tata Motors announced that it plans to launch eight new EVs by 2025. The carmaker recently introduced the Nexon EV Max and if the latest rumours are true, then the Harrier EV could be launched by mid-2023.

It is said that Harrier EV has just completed the mule phase and is now entering the Alpha testing phase. The all-electric version of the Harrier is not the only electric SUV that Tata is currently working on. The Punch EV is also said to be in the Beta testing phase and might debut sometime next year.

Earlier this year, Tata Motors showcased its next-generation EV platform. It will spawn a range of new models including a coupe-style electric SUV based on the Curvv concept.

The carmaker also confirmed the Tiago EV for the Indian market. It will be the brand’s most affordable electric car, positioned below the Tigor EV.
