Rumour: Renault Triber AMT to be offered in 3 variants

According to a media report, the Renault Triber AMT is likely to be offered in three variants - RxL, RxT and RxZ.

The top-spec RxZ AMT is expected to get features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, digital instrument cluster and AC vents for the second and third row seats. The car could also get projector headlights with LED daytime running lights as well as a keyless entry and go system.

A leaked document suggests that Renault might launch the Tiber AMT on May 18, 2020. The car is expected to be powered by a BS6-compliant 999cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 71 BHP @ 6,250 rpm and 96 Nm @ 3,500 rpm. The engine is likely to be paired with a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).

The Triber is also expected to get a 1.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine in the future. This engine is likely to produce 99 BHP and 160 Nm.
