New-gen Kia Seltos spotted with new seats, 2-tone upholstery

The new Seltos is likely to be based on the same platform as the current model.

The second-generation Kia Seltos is currently under development. We know the SUV has already reached its pre-production prototype phase, as test mules have been spotted in the brand's home market of South Korea.

The latest spy images of the new-gen Seltos provide a glimpse of its interior. The images reveal new front seats wrapped in grey and black upholstery with subtle orange highlights and grey door pads. Sadly, the dashboard and centre console area were hidden from prying eyes.

On the outside, the new Seltos will feature new LED headlamps with a unique light signature. Test mules have also been seen sporting two-tone alloy wheels and redesigned ORVMs.

The new Seltos is likely to be based on the same platform as the current model. It could be offered with the same 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. There are talks of the Seltos getting a new 1.6-litre petrol hybrid, as well.
