Rumour: Renault Kiger (HBC) launch in July 2020

According to a media report, Renault might launch the Kiger sub-4 meter SUV in India in July 2020.

Test mules of the Renault Kiger (codenamed: HBC) have been spotted in India. The spy images suggest that it could borrow design cues from the updated Kwid. The car could get a twin-slat grille with slim triangular lights and tri-pod headlamps positioned lower down on the front bumper.

At the rear, the Kiger could get a sloping windshield with a wiper and a shark fin antenna. Reports suggest that the SUV might come with a sunroof. It could be offered with 5-spoke alloy wheels.

The Kiger is expected to be based on the CMF-A+ platform. It could be offered with a turbocharged 1.0-litre petrol engine paired with either a manual or an automated manual transmission (AMT).
