Rumour: Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic to be priced at Rs. 67,437

Bajaj has reportedly launched a new entry-level variant of the Pulsar 150 called the 150 Classic. Compared to the standard model, it misses out on certain cosmetic elements as well as features. Reports indicate that the bike will be priced at Rs. 67,437 (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

As the name suggests, the Pulsar 150 Classic is inspired by the third-generation model. It has a stepped seat but misses out on the split-seat offered on other variants. The plastic tank extensions have been removed and apart from the model designation there aren't any decals or graphics. The 150 Classic also misses out on a rear disc brake as well.

The Pulsar 150 Classic uses the same 149.5 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine as the standard Pulsar 150. This engine develops 13.8 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 13.4 Nm of torque @ 6,000 rpm and comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Braking duties are handled by a 240 mm front disc brake and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear. ABS is not available on this variant.

Bajaj Auto is yet to formally announce the launch of the Pulsar 150 Classic.
