The SUV will come to India with the Renault badge in 2025.

The new-generation Dacia (Renault) Duster recently underwent Euro NCAP's crash test program. The new-gen crossover received a 3-star safety rating, scoring 70% for adult occupancy protection and 84% for child occupant protection. The Duster also secured 57% for safety assist systems and 60% for vulnerable road users.

In the front offset tests, both driver and passenger's knee and femur protection was rated good, but the driver's chest protection was rated weak. Also, driver and rear passenger chest protection was rated as marginal during the full-width rigid barrier test. Having said that, the Duster offered good protection in both the side barrier and side pole impact tests - even earning maximum points in the category.

The Duster offered adequate protection to the neck of a 10-year-old occupant in the frontal test. All critical body areas for both 6-year-olds and 10-year-olds received good protection during the frontal offset and side barrier impact tests.

The new-generation Dacia Duster has been confirmed for the Indian market. The SUV will come to India with the Renault badge in 2025. The model tested though was the Euro-spec left-hand drive version. The India-spec Duster will be different since it will be manufactured locally.
