Royal Enfield has unveiled the Concept KX at the 2018 International Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition (EICMA) in Milan.
The Concept KX is inspired by the Royal Enfield KX from 1938. The bike has a low-slung look with a circular LED headlamp at the front and flat handlebars. The bike has an unconventional looking girder front fork and a single-sided rear swingarm. It has an elongated fuel tank, a single cantilever seat and twin side-mounted exhausts. The Concept KX is finished in the same dark bottle-green colour as the original KX.
The Concept KX is powered by an 838cc, liquid-cooled, V-twin cylinder engine. However, Royal Enfield hasn't disclosed more details of this powerplant. The original KX was powered by a 1,140cc, air-cooled, V-twin engine. The braking setup on the Concept KX comprises of a twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear.
Royal Enfield has not disclosed any plans to put the Concept KX into production.
