Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the Harrier.ev in the Indian market this year. The production version was recently showcased during an event at the Pune factory. Now, a new teaser gives us a glimpse of the new electric SUV’s interior.
The Harrier.ev will have the same dashboard layout as the ICE-powered version. The teaser reveals a large, floating touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster with EV-specific graphics. The new four-spoke steering wheel with the illuminated logo has also been carried over unchanged. There’s also a rotary dial, a drive mode selector and an electronic parking brake.
The Harrier.ev is likely to be based on the brand’s Gen 2 EV architecture. The electric SUV is expected to be offered in a dual-motor configuration, a 75 kWh battery pack with a range of around 500 km.
The Harrier.ev is expected to be launched in the coming months. It will compete with the Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti Suzuki e Vitara.
