Simple OneS electric scooter launched at Rs 1.40 lakh

The Simple OneS replaces the Dot One in the brand's e-scooter lineup.

Simple Energy has launched the OneS electric scooter. It replaces the Simple Dot One and is priced at Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Simple OneS is positioned below the One in the company’s e-scooter lineup. It comes with a 3.7 kWh battery pack that has a range of up to 181 km – 30 km more than the Dot One.

The OneS is powered by an 8.5 kW electric motor that allows the e-scooter to sprint from 0-40 km/h in 2.55 seconds. It has a claimed top speed of 105 km/h. The e-scooter gets a telescopic fork in the front and a mono-shock at the rear. It has disc brakes at both ends.

The OneS comes with a 7-inch touchscreen instrument console with features like Bluetooth, 5G e-SIM and Wi-Fi connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, TPMS, and over-the-air updates. Other features include park assist with forward and reverse modes, and four riding modes: Eco, Ride, Dash and Sonic.
