Real-world fuel efficiency of the Ford Endeavour 2.0L

Got an absolutely amazing fuel economy figure of 15 km/l today. Drove with a light foot with 70% highway and 30% city usage.

BHPians rahul_jo, ulhas.ahirrao and cool_dube recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

Here's what rahul_jo had to say on the fuel efficiency of his 2WD Ford Endeavour 2.0L in June 2020:

Got an average of 13 km/l with 70 percent city and 30 percent highway usage. Doesn't seem too shabby as it hasn't even completed the run in period yet.

Not bad at all.

Here's what ulhas.ahirrao had to say on the fuel efficiency of his Ford Endeavour 2.0L in March 2021:

Similar views after my first 250 km on the Endeavour. Largely in the city, however with empty stretches with less traffic. FE was 12.8 km/l, however, it drops considerably at lower speeds.

Here's what ulhas.ahirrao had to say on the fuel efficiency of his Ford Endeavour 2.0L in May 2021:

Mileage dropped to 11.4 km/l due the heavy right foot. Last trip from Mumbai to my hometown on the Mumbai - Agra highway of ~300 km, I got 13 km/l with a light foot.

Here's what cool_dube had to say on the fuel efficiency of his Ford Endeavour 2.0L in March 2021:

With sedate driving, one can easily clock 12-plus km/l on highway runs.

Though I do not give enough weightage to this aspect while buying my cars, this is an added bonus in case of the 2.0L EcoBlue engine. With a light foot, one can easily extract 13-plus km/l on highway runs.

Here's what cool_dube had to say on the fuel efficiency of his Ford Endeavour 2.0L in April 2021:

My Endeavour has not been (and is unlikely to be) driven in city traffic, hence I do not have an exact figure. However, based on my feel of its fuel consumption characteristics thus far, I would expect it to return 10-11 km/l in average/medium city traffic. Do note that I'm referring to the 4WD variant here. The 2WD variant is more frugal and could return 12-14 km/lit as well.
