As Maruti Suzuki prepares to launch the new Ciaz in the Indian market, the first cars have already started arriving at dealerships. New images have surfaced online which reveal a petrol variant of the car finished in Nexa Blue shade.

The new Ciaz is expected to be offered in 4 variants - Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. The car seen here could be of a lower variant, since it has projector headlamps unlike the LED setup seen in the official teaser images. Apart from that, it has the updated front grille with twin chrome accents and circular fog lamps with U-shaped silver trim. This particular variant has the multi-spoke alloy wheels finished in silver instead of the dual-tone alloys seen on higher variants. ORVMs with integrated turn signals have been carried over unchanged.

Moving to the rear, the car has the Smart Hybrid badge on the boot lid and revised tail lamp clusters. It is expected to be powered by a new 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine with mild hybrid technology. Transmission options are likely to include a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic.
