Next generation Ford Figo spied testing in Brazil

The next generation Ford Ka hatchback has been spotted doing its test rounds in Brazil. The car was camouflaged mildly, indicating that it could be launched soon.

The Ka, which is likely to be launched as the next generation Figo in India, uses Ford's new design language with an Aston Martin-like, hexagonal front grille. The compact sedan based on its platform (B562) was displayed at the Auto Expo last month. The compact sedan is likely to replace the ageing Ford Classic in the near future.

The Brazilian-spec Ka is expected to get two petrol engines - 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder and 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, EcoBoost, turbo petrol. For India, Ford might use one petrol and one diesel power plant to power the Figo.
