According to media reports, the next generation Mahindra XUV500 is likely to be launched in early 2021.
Spy images suggest that the new XUV500 is likely to get a redesigned exterior featuring flush-fitting door handles. It could get a more upright front and rear fascia. The SUV is expected to get redesigned headlamps with LED daytime running lights and the signature Mahindra grille.
On the inside, the XUV500 is likely to get an all-new dashboard. The infotainment system and instrument cluster could be housed in a single panel.
Mahindra is expected to offer the new XUV500 with a BS-VI compliant 2.2-litre diesel engine. It could be paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.
