More images: Hyundai Creta facelift

Thanks to BHPian Insane Devil for sharing these images with other enthusiasts!

Earlier this week, we shared a spy image of the Hyundai Creta facelift, which was spotted testing in India for the first time. Now, a test mule of the Creta facelift has been spotted again and this time we get a peek at its updated front end.

We first saw the Creta facelift when it was unveiled at the Sao Paulo auto show and it appears that the India-spec Creta will receive similar updates. Like the South American version, this test mule has the same hexagonal front grille with three slats, flanked by wraparound headlights. The front bumper has been redesigned with a silver trim around the lower vent. The fog lamps have also been restyled to fit the reshaped fog lamp pods. The test mule can be seen sporting wheel caps instead of alloys. Also, the lack of chrome trim suggests that this might be the base trim of the Creta.

Besides the exterior, Hyundai is likely to offer the Creta facelift with an updated touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity options.

There has been no official word regarding updates to the powertrains. However, it is believed that the Creta facelift might use the same set of engines that are currently available. These include a 1.6-litre petrol with 123 BHP / 151 Nm, a 1.4-litre diesel with 89 BHP and a 126 BHP 1.6-litre diesel unit. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
