MG Motor India has launched four new EX variants based on existing trims. The new variants get fewer safety features and are priced below the regular variants.
The Astor EX variants miss out on features like ESC, traction control, hill hold control and hill descent control. The Sharp EX trim does not get Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert features.
The MG Astor EX trims are only available with the 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. This engine makes 108 BHP and 144 Nm.
The regular variants of the SUV are also available with a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with an 8-speed CVT and a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
