Mercedes E-Class Edition E launched in India

Mercedes-Benz has been selling the E-Class in India for 20 years. Over the period, the German carmaker has sold 32,000 units of the luxury sedan in the country and to commemorate this milestone, it has launched the Edition E special edition of the car.

The Edition E is available with a choice of three engines - 1,991cc, 4-cylinder petrol (E 200), 2,143cc 4-cylinder diesel (E 250 CDI) and 2,987cc, V6 diesel (E 350 CDI). While the engine in the E 200 produces 181 BHP & 300 Nm of torque, the engines in the E 250 CDI and E 350 CDI develop 201 BHP & 500 Nm and 261 BHP & 620 Nm of torque respectively.

The Edition E comes with an "Edition E" badge, illuminated star and black hub caps. On the inside, the car is equipped with SD card navigation, MB Apps and a sporty brake pedal.

Additionally, the E 350 CDI Edition E variant gets a keyless go package, illuminated scuff plates and a rear seat entertainment system.

Prices (ex-showroom Pune) of the Edition E variant are:

E 200: Rs. 48.60 lakh
E 250 CDI: Rs. 50.76 lakh
E 350 CDI: Rs. 60.61 lakh
