Maruti recalls 20,427 units of S-Cross over brake issue

Maruti Suzuki has recalled 20,427 units of the S-Cross manufactured between April 20, 2015 and February 12, 2016. This recall applies to both the variants of S-Cross - DDiS 320 and DDiS 200.

The company will inspect a suspected fault and replace a brake part in the vehicles. Maruti's dealers will contact the owners of the impacted vehicles. The inspection and replacement will be done free of cost.

S-Cross owners can check if their vehicles are impacted by filling in the chassis number (MA3 followed by 14 digit alpha-numeric number) at this link.

The chassis number can be found embossed on the vehicle ID plate and is also printed in the vehicle invoice / registration documents.
