Mahindra Thar prices hiked by up to Rs. 92,000

Prices of the Scorpio, Marazzo, XUV500 and XUV300 have also been hiked.

Most carmakers have announced a price hike this month. Mahindra too has decided to increase the prices of its models from July 6, 2021.

The quantum of the price hike varies from model to model, but it's the increase in the prices of the Thar that caught our attention. The off-roader gets the steepest hike of Rs. 32,000-92,000 depending on the variant.

The prices of the Scorpio have been increased by Rs. 27,211-37,395, followed by the Marazzo, prices of which have been raised by Rs. 26,597-30,867.

The Bolero is now dearer by Rs. 22,452-22,508, while the prices of the XUV300 have been hiked by Rs. 3,606-24,029. The XUV500, KUV100 and Alturas G4 get a nominal hike of up to Rs. 3,068, Rs. 2,672 and Rs. 3,356 respectively.

The latest price hike comes at a time when Mahindra is gearing up to launch the Bolero Neo in the Indian market.
