Mahindra KUV100 NXT AMT spotted

Mahindra is likely to introduce an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) on the KUV100 NXT as a test mule with the said transmission was spotted testing in Mumbai recently.

AMT version appears to have the same updated dashboard featuring piano black trim and silver inserts. The centre console houses a touchscreen infotainment system as well as the gear lever, which looks similar to the one on the manual version.

The KUV100 NXT was launched in October 2017. It is currently available in five variants with a choice of petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine produces 82 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 115 Nm @ 3,500-3,600 rpm. The 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder diesel makes 77 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 190 Nm @ 1,750-2,250 rpm. Currently, both engines are offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox only.

There has been no word regarding the launch date of the KUV100 NXT AMT yet.
