Mahindra Gusto 125 unveiled; launch in February

Mahindra has unveiled a 125cc version of its Gusto scooter. The bike will be launched in February 2016.

The Gusto 125 is powered by a 124.6cc, 4-stroke, air-cooled M-Tec petrol engine that develops 8.5 BHP @ 7,000 rpm and 10 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a CVT gearbox. The scooter comes with drum brakes at the front and rear.

The Gusto 125 uses the same platform as the Gusto 110. Both scooters look similar except for some cosmetic tweaks, different colours, decals and badges.

All the features available on the Gusto 110 have been carried over to the 125. These include a height adjustable seat, find-me and guide-me lamps, LED pilot lamps, tubeless tyres and remote flip key.

Like the 110, the Gusto 125 gets a telescopic fork suspension at the front and a coil-type, hydraulic suspension at the rear. The scooter rides on 12-inch wheels shod with 90/90-12 section tyres.
