KTM hikes price of Duke 390

Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, KTM has increased the price of the Duke 390. Buyers will have to pay Rs. 1,86,000 (ex-showroom Pune), which is an increase of Rs. 6,000 over than the price at which it was introduced.

Launched in India in June 2013, the Duke 390 has become a favourite among enthusiasts, offering snappy performance and good handling at a reasonable cost. Even at the increased price, the bike remains a good value for money proposition.

The bike sports a 373.2 cc, single-cylinder, water-cooled engine, developing 43 bhp and 35 Nm of torque. A 6-speed gearbox transmits this power to its rear wheel. KTM has equipped the bike with disc brakes on both wheels and ABS.

KTM manufactures the Duke 390 at Bajaj Auto’s Chakan factory, near Pune.
