KTM 790 Adventure spotted at Bajaj factory

The KTM 790 Adventure will compete with the Triumph Tiger 800, Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT and the BMW F750 GS.

It's been 2 years since the KTM 790 Adventure was first spotted testing in India. Now, the bike has been snapped inside the Bajaj factory at Chakan near Pune, which has led to speculations that it could be launched soon.

The KTM 790 Adventure is expected to compete with the Triumph Tiger 800, Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT and the BMW F750 GS. It will be locally assembled from imported completely knocked down (CKD) kits.

The 790 Adventure is powered by a 799cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 94 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 88 Nm @ 6,600 rpm. It comes with a telescopic fork suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear. It has twin disc brakes at the front and a single disc at the rear. The bike rides spoke wheels shod with off-road tyres.

The bike seen in these images is finished in KTM's signature orange shade. It has an LED headlamp and a digital instrument cluster. The bike also gets multiple riding modes, lean-sensitive traction control and off-road ABS.
