Kia's Indian roadshow to recruit dealerships

Kia Motors will be hosting a series of roadshows across India to meet prospective dealers. The 'Kia Dealer Roadshow' which aims to help connect with future dealer partners will be held throughout the months of August and September.

The roadshow will take place in four Indian cities starting with Delhi on 8-9 August, followed by Mumbai on 16-17 August, then Bengaluru on 23-24 August and finally, will conclude in Kolkata on September 1, 2017.

The official Kia Motors India website was also launched today along with a standalone website for the upcoming roadshow. Interested dealers who wish to attend the event can register here.

They plan to invest $1.1 billion in India. Kia's first manufacturing unit will come up in the Anantpur district of Andhra Pradesh. The facility, with a total annual capacity of 3 lakh units will be spread over 23 million sq.ft. and is expected to become operational in the second half of 2019. As per some media reports, Kia will be showcasing 3-4 models at the 2018 Auto Expo.
