Kia Sonet front-end partially revealed in a spy shot

The front-end of the Kia Sonet has been partially revealed in a new spy image. The car appears to be a lower variant finished in silver.

The Sonet gets a tiger nose grille, a front skid plate finished in silver, and flared wheelarches. The car seen in this image is missing out on fog lamps, roof rails, alloy wheels, and it appears to get halogen headlamps with no DRLs. It also has dual-tone ORVMs.

Reports suggest that the Sonet could get GT Line trim with two top-spec variants - GTX and GTX Plus, powered by the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. Other engine options might include a 1.2-litre petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options might include a 6-speed manual, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and a 6-speed iMT with an automated clutch.

The Sonet shares its platform with the Hyundai Venue and will be unveiled on August 7, 2020.
