Kia receives 1,822 pre-bookings for new Carnival in a single day

The Carnival is available in two variants: Limousine and Limousine Plus.

Kia has registered the segment’s highest first-day bookings for the Carnival. The carmaker received 1,822 pre-orders within the first 24 hours, surpassing the previous generation’s record of 1,410 bookings.

Bookings for the new Carnival commenced on September 16. Customers can place their pre-orders by paying a token amount of Rs 2 lakh at an authorised dealership or online.

The Carnival is available in two variants: Limousine and Limousine Plus. It comes loaded with several creature comforts. It gets Luxury Powered Relaxation seats with ventilation and leg support in the second row, power sliding rear doors, an electric dual-pane sunroof, a 12-speaker Bose sound system and dual curved displays featuring a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

The Carnival is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine that produces 190 BHP and 441 Nm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
