Hyundai to showcase Ioniq 6 EV at Auto Expo 2023

The Ioniq 6 is based on the E-GMP platform, which is shared with the Ioniq 5.

Earlier this week, Hyundai unveiled the all-electric Ioniq 5 in India. The carmaker is now gearing up to showcase the Ioniq 6 EV at the upcoming Auto Expo 2023.

The Ioniq 6 is based on the E-GMP platform, which is shared with the Ioniq 5. It’s a four-door sedan with a coupe-like roofline, unlike the Ioniq 5, which is a large hatchback. The car gets flush-fitting door handles and rear-view cameras instead of the traditional ORVMs.

Inside, the Ioniq 6 features a futuristic-looking dashboard with a dual-screen setup and a 2-spoke steering wheel.

The Ioniq 6 is available with two battery options and comes in single or dual-motor configurations. The single motor variant with the 53 kWh battery packs 225 BHP and 350 Nm. It has a claimed WLTP range of 429 km, while the larger 77.4 kWh battery is said to deliver 614 km of range.

The AWD version of the Ioniq 6 with the dual motor setup packs 316 BHP and 605 Nm and has a range of 583 km.
