2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift globally unveiled

Hyundai will bring the Ioniq 5 facelift to India as well.

Hyundai has taken the wraps off the facelift version of its all-electric offering, the Ioniq 5. The 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift comes three years after the original EV was introduced.

The Ioniq 5 facelift will come in three versions, depending on the market: Standard, N Line and N Performance. The facelift version of the Ioniq 5 features the larger 84 kWh battery pack seen on the outgoing Ioniq 5 N model. However, Hyundai has yet to confirm the improved range and performance figures for the 2024 EV.

In terms of design updates, the 2024 Ioniq 5 facelift comes with a revised front grille design, along with slightly larger front and rear bumpers. The Ioniq 5 facelift is 20 mm longer than the previous model, while width, height and wheelbase remain unchanged. The 2024 Ioniq 5 also comes with a rear spoiler which is 50 mm wider than the outgoing version. Other changes include the addition of a rear wiper and newly-designed alloy wheels. The full N performance version comes with additional updates, including aggressively designed bumpers, side skirts and larger 20-inch aluminium wheels.

Inside, the 2024 Ioniq 5 facelift features more physical buttons for essential and frequently used functions. It also comes with a wireless charging pad, a new steering wheel with interactive pixel lights, OTA updates to the infotainment screen and added safety features.

Hyundai will bring the Ioniq 5 facelift to India as well. However, there is no official timeline at this point.
