Hyundai India is planning to increase prices of the Creta to the tune of up to Rs. 15,000. This price increase will likely be made by September 2016. The Korean automaker usually has a planned price revision in Q3 every year, in order to accommodate any fluctuations in operational and manufacturing costs.

Hyundai has officially communicated these price hike plans to its dealers so that potential customers can be informed in advance. The company has also asked the dealers to place orders for the Creta at the earliest, in order to avoid the scheduled price hike.

The Creta is offered in both petrol and diesel options. The petrol Creta retails in the price bracket of Rs. 9.17 lakh to Rs. 12.87 lakh, while the Diesel range is placed from Rs. 10 lakh to Rs. 14.51 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
