Hyundai Creta Petrol automatic priced at Rs. 13.48 lakh

Earlier this month, we had reported that Hyundai is gearing up to launch an automatic variant of the Creta petrol (click here to read report). Now, dealerships have started accepting bookings for the car.

The automatic transmission is available on the SX+ trim level of the Creta petrol. The booking amount for the car has been pegged at Rs. 25,000 and the vehicle is priced at Rs. 13.48 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). However, dealers are not specifying a delivery period for the car, which means that customers could have to wait for months before they get their vehicles.

The Creta petrol is powered by a 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder engine that puts out 121 BHP @ 6,400 rpm and 151 Nm of torque @ 4,850 rpm. The automatic transmission is a conventional 6-speed unit.

Hyundai is also planning to launch the S+ variant of the Creta diesel with an automatic gearbox in the coming months.
