Honda has officially commenced bookings for the Elevate in India. Customers can place their orders by paying a token amount of Rs 21,000. The prices for the midsize SUV will be announced in September.
In India, the Elevate will be available with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 119 BHP @ 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm @ 4,300 rpm. It will be mated with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed CVT.
In terms of its design, the Honda Elevate features an upright front fascia with a large rectangular grille, squared-off wheel arches and clean lines. The SUV has sleek LED headlamps up front, L-shaped LED tail lights, and it rides on dual-tone alloy wheels.
The Elevate comes with a dual-tone interior with beige upholstery. Again, Honda has opted for a cleaner design for the dashboard. It has a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the centre, a 3-spoke steering wheel and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.
The Elevate also comes equipped with the Honda Sensing ADAS suite, which includes safety features like a collision mitigation braking system, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, road departure warning and automatic high beam assist.
