Hero Hunk facelift spotted testing

Hero MotoCorp has started testing a facelifted version of the Hunk 150cc motorcycle.

While the cladding hides most of the changes on the bike, we can see that it is largely similar to the existing model. However, we can expect some cosmetic and mechanical changes to the bike.

Among the likely changes are a new headlamp and cowl, new instrumentation and new body graphics. The gas-charged shock absorbers of the test mule appear to be fitted upside down and are finished in black instead of red and gold like the current model.

The Hunk is expected to share its engine with the Xtreme Sports, which was launched earlier this year. This engine is a 149.2cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder unit that develops 15.6 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 13.5 Nm of torque @ 7,000 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed transmission.
