Harley-Davidson recalls 3,698 units of Street 750 in India

Harley-Davidson has issued a voluntary recall for 3,698 units of the Street 750 model over a faulty fuel pump inlet.

This recall is a part of a global exercise that covers the 2015 Street family of motorcycles that were manufactured this year. The XG750 model from the family is available in India.

The vehicles recalled have been manufactured between February 24, 2014, and July 15, 2015 at Harley-Davidson's plant in Bawal, Haryana. The company has said that some of the bikes may have a poor seal at the fuel pump inlet.

Harley-Davidson's dealers will notify customers to bring their motorcycles in for inspection. The faulty seal will be replaced by the company at no cost to the customer.
