The total cost came to Rs. 4,130.

Why Detailing Mafia?

Around Q1 of 2022, I was searching for a detailer to clean my Interceptor; most detailers around my place are good enough for making money & with cars. Accidentally I stumbled upon a post in FB with a clean Orange Crush Interceptor 650. Called up to affirm they will work on Interceptor & they confirmed they will. Then one priority over other dragged things to Jan 2023 when I visited the place, had an interaction with the owner, who was pleasant to talk to. He asked to give a call a day before & confirm the appointment. Called on 22 Mar 2023 for an appointment for 23, but they were full. Tried again on 28-Apr for 29-Apr, they were full.

Tried on 13-Jul, again they were full for 14-Jul, but they said they're open on 16-Jun. Didn't want to postpone this time & thus made on 16 Jul.

Not going to write too much as I'm quite happy with the job done, it was just cleaning & polishing, no PPF, ceramic coating as I only wanted the vehicle to be clean & will get similar clean up done annually or so. Wallet dented for Rs 3500+GST=Rs 4130.

Although I visited the place at 9:40 Am {they're open to business by 10:00}, they started working only by 10:45 or so allowing the engine to cool down; practically speaking they wasted 45 minutes, but rationally speaking, this is the right approach that I've always followed. What I personally like about their business model is that, hey don't succumb to unnecessary pressure, such as taking on do it now tasks. They prioritize quality over quantity and politely decline when they are full for each task they undertake. I personally witnessed redirecting a few customers to other places stating they were fully occupied for the day. Speaking to the owner, Mr. Vineeth said, they are content with a limited number of customers and are dedicated to ensuring satisfaction with each and every one of them. It's not just recommended, but strongly advised to book appointment in advance before visiting this place. From my experience, it's not a day's booking in advance, but would give 2-3 days in advance to get your slot.

What I like:

  • Punctual to keep up the time & work carried out strictly through appointment
  • Amidst of Fortuner & BMW, a humble motorcycle was being detailed {they said they detail even my Rx}
  • Very polite staffs, highly focused at work, no chitchatting & a very down to earth owner
  • Work is carried out to Customer's satisfaction

What I don't like:

  • Sometime the appointment can be annoying if you cannot find your desired slot
  • The Customer lounge is not an ambient place
  • If you've an Eagle eyes, you may want to ask them to clean certain areas as its easier for them to overlook a few tiny areas {But then this is really not an issue as they kept asking me several times & worked to my satisfaction}

Pricing:I find their prices are quite reasonable
