Ford EcoSport facelift interior spied in detail

The Ford EcoSport facelift is rumoured to be launched on November 9, 2017. A recent spy video offers a look at the updated interiors.

The EcoSport facelift gets a new dashboard layout with a floating 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Orange trim extends along the length of the dashboard and around the centre console. Orange trim can also be seen on the door panels. The climate control module has a blue-backlit display. Two USB ports are placed under the air-conditioning unit which are also backlit in blue.

The multi-functional steering wheel has additional buttons for adjusting the cruise control speed. In addition to that, there are the usual audio, phone and menu control buttons. The instrument cluster consists of a twin-dial setup with a centrally placed MID, temperature and fuel gauge. The 2017 EcoSport will have keyless entry, while the key itself has chrome detailing around it.

As previous spy images have revealed, the EcoSport facelift gets a hexagonal grille, re-profiled headlights and a new front bumper housing a set of redesigned fog lamps. Higher variants of the model are likely to get larger diameter alloy wheels, while the Titanium S is expected to get new 5-spoke alloys finished in grey among other bits.

The EcoSport facelift will be offered with a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder Dragon series petrol engine. This unit is claimed to deliver 121 BHP and 150 Nm of peak torque. A diesel option will also be available, while a 5-speed manual gearbox will be standard.
