First Ather Rizta e-scooter rolls off the production line

The Rizta has been positioned as a more practical alternative to the 450X.

The first production version of the Ather Rizta has rolled off the production line. Co-founder and CEO, Tarun Mehta, announced the start of production on X (formerly Twitter).

The Ather Rizta was launched in April this year. It is available in two variants: S and Z, with prices starting at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Rizta has been positioned as a more practical alternative to the 450X. It is said to have the largest seat of any scooter in India. It has a 34-litre underseat storage and an additional 22-litre frunk.

Rizta is available with two battery options. The base S variant comes with a 2.9 kWh battery pack offering a range of 105 km. The Rizta Z is available with either a 2.9 kWh or 3.7 kWh battery. The latter offers a range of 125 km on a single charge.
