Datsun to launch GO+ on January 15

Datsun, the budget brand of Japanese carmaker Nissan will launch the GO+ MPV on January 15, 2015.

The GO+ is based on the GO hatchback which was launched earlier this year. It is 3995 mm long, 1635 mm wide and 1485 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2450 mm and a ground clearance of 170 mm. It is powered by the same engine as the GO hatchback - a 1198 cc, 3-cylinder, petrol engine that produces 67 bhp @ 5000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque @ 4000 rpm. Power is transmitted to the front wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox.

On the inside, the GO+ has a 7 seater layout. The rest of the interior is similar to that of the GO hatchback. Equipment levels are low and include an air-conditioner, a mobile docking unit with Aux-in and USB charging facility and front power windows.
