BMW CE 02 e-scooter bookings open in India

The BMW CE 02 is the first locally produced BEV in India from BMW Motorrad.

BMW Motorrad India has opened bookings for the CE 02 electric scooter.

The BMW CE 02 is the first locally produced BEV in India from BMW Motorrad. It is manufactured at TVS’ Hosur plant.

The BMW CE 02 is powered by a pair of 2 kWh lithium-ion batteries paired with a 15 BHP electric motor. The e-scooter has a top speed of 95 km/h and can travel up to 90 km on a single charge. BMW also offers a single battery version with a top speed of 45 km/h and a range of 45 km.

The CE 02 has an unconventional design with minimal bodywork. It features an LED headlamp, a single-piece flat seat, and a 3.5-inch TFT instrument console. The scooter is equipped with a USD fork at the front and monoshock at the rear. It rides on 14-inch wheels, while stopping power is provided by disc brakes.
