Avanturaa Choppers to launch its first chopper in India

Avanturaa Choppers, a production chopper motorcycle brand has been launched in India. The Mumbai based company has setup a manufacturing plant on the outskirts of the city. According to the company, the ARAI certification process is in its final stages and they expect to roll out their first motorcycle during the current quarter.

The chopper styled motorcycles will be powered by engines with a base displacement of 2,000 cc. Components for the motorcycles like engines, Promo 6-speed transmissions, suspensions and seats are being imported from various manufacturers in the United States. The bike will feature brake calipers by French manufacturer Beringer and it will ride on Avon Cobra tyres. A German company Kellermann will supply turn signals for the choppers.

Chopper motorcycles are basically a type of cruisers which are rather unconventionally styled. Avanturaa Choppers will be positioning their products in the premium segment. The company is targeting 7-8% market share in the 1600 cc and above bike segment.
