Audi to recall 6758 units of A4 to fix airbag snag

German automaker Audi is set to recall 6,758 units of A4 sedans in India over a flaw with their airbags. Audi claims that the software for the airbag control units in cars manufactured between November 2011 and October 2014 will need to be updated. No components will need to be replaced.

Audi dealers will contact the owners of the affected cars and will arrange for an appointment at their workshops. They will update the software towards setting parameters of airbag control unit.
This recall is part of a global exercise involving 8.5 lakh units of the A4.
