7-seat Tata Harrier christened Gravitas. Launch in Feb 2020

The 7-seat version of the Tata Harrier will be called Gravitas in India. The SUV will be launched in February 2020.

The Tata Gravitas is based on the OMEGA platform, which is derived from Land Rover's D8 architecture.

The Gravitas was unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show as the Buzzard. It is likely to feature a similar front fascia as the Harrier consisting of a trapezoidal grille and slim LED daytime running lights and headlamp pods placed on the front bumper. The Gravitas is expected to get a more upright rear end with wraparound tail lights and a third row of seats.

The Gravitas is likely to be offered with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 170 BHP and 350 Nm of torque. Transmission options could include a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.
