2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 launched at Rs 98 lakh

The AMG C43 competes with the BMW M340i and the Audi S5 Sportback in the Indian market.

Mercedes-Benz has launched the 2023 AMG C43 in India. The sports sedan is priced at Rs 98 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be imported via the CBU route.

Being the sportier version of the C Class, the AMG C43 features a bolder exterior design featuring the signature AMG grille and more aggressive bumpers. The car is equipped with AMG-specific alloy wheels and quad exhausts.

Inside, the C43 comes with an 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The car gets sports seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a 15-speaker Burmester audio system.

The AMG C43 uses a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine paired with an electric turbocharger and a 48V mild-hybrid system. It packs 397 BHP and 500 Nm and is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and the 4Matic all-wheel drive system. Mercedes claims a 0-100 km/h time of 4.6 seconds.
