2019 Jeep Grand Wagoneer full-size SUV images leaked

Jeep is planning to launch a full size SUV by 2019. This new SUV will likely be called the Grand Wagoneer. Information and a couple of images of the Grand Wagoneer have been leaked from a dealer meeting. This name isn't new for the Jeep portfolio, as the American automaker used to sell a large premium SUV under the same moniker in the mid-1980s.

Images leaked on the internet showcase some design elements of the front and rear of the upcoming SUV. According to these images, the 2019 Grand Wagoneer will likely feature LED headlamps and LED fog lights, while the characteristic seven-slot Jeep grille will sit in the middle. The taillights too feature LED technology, while the number plate housing has been placed in the centre of the tailgate.

Reports also suggest that the Grand Wagoneer will share its platform with the next-generation Grand Cherokee. Once launched, the new SUV will be Jeep's flagship offering, and will sit above the Grand Cherokee.
