Yamaha FZ-X technical specs leaked

Tthe FZ-X is powered by a 149cc engine that produces 12.2 BHP @ 7,250 rpm.

Technical details of the upcoming Yamaha FZ-X have been revealed through a Type Approval Certificate.

The Yamaha FZ-X measures 2,020 mm in length, 785 mm in width and 1,115 mm in height with wheelbase of 1,330 mm. The bike's gross weight is 289 kg.

According to the document, the FZ-X is powered by a 149cc engine that produces 12.2 BHP @ 7,250 rpm. Since it's the same engine that powers the FZ, peak torque is expected to be identical at 13.3 Nm.

A test mule of the FZ-X was spotted on the Yamuna Expressway last month. The spy images suggest that the bike will get telescopic front suspension with rubber gaiters and a monoshock at the rear. The test bike was also equipped with alloy wheels.
