Volvo V90 spied sans camouflage

The Volvo S90 sedan's wagon counterpart has been spied undisguised. The V90 station wagon features a radical new design that is shared with the XC90 and S90. The edgy new styling is more daring than the V70's and the sharply raked rear windshield makes the car look sporty, while the front end is similar to the S90.

The V90 features black roof rails, a shark fin radio aerial, chrome lining around the windows, chrome tail pipe finishers, a roof integrated spoiler and a large tail lamp unit that runs along the D-pillar, onto the rear hatch.

The V90 is based on Volvo's scalable product architecture (SPA) and will share its powertrain options with the S90. Options will include a range of four-cylinder petrol and diesel mills. The V90 could make its debut at the Geneva motor show in March this year, while the S90 will make an appearance at the Detroit motor show this month.
