Volkswagen Vento facelift seen with LED tail lamps

The Volkswagen Vento facelift has been spotted testing on several occasions. Now, it has been spied once again and the images reveal that it could get LED tail lamps.

The car is seen with Indian test plates, but it also bears a Polo badge. As we already know, the Vento is exported as the Polo sedan to international markets including South Africa. So, it can be assumed that Volkswagen is likely to provide LED tail lamps on the export version of the car. The test mule also had a twin-slat grille and not a triple slat unit like the one seen on the car spotted in Russia (click here to read report). The car's alloy wheels are also similar to the ones seen on the Polo facelift.

The refreshed Vento is likely to continue with the current 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol, 1.6-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines as the current model. The 5-speed manual and 7-speed DSG automatic transmissions from the current model are also likely to be carried over.

Volkswagen is expected to launch the Vento facelift in India during the festive period this year.
