Volkswagen Polo Highline Plus variant arrives at dealership

In July 2017, we had reported that Volkswagen had quietly launched a new variant of the Polo. Now, it seems that the deliveries of the Polo Highline Plus have commenced as the car has been spotted at a dealership. 

In Highline Plus trim, the Polo gets 16-inch alloy wheels similar to the GT Sport variant, all black interior, fabric seats with leatherette inserts and brown checked pattern, front centre armrest, rear air-conditioning vent, multi-functional steering wheel with glossy black trim and chrome highlights, new infotainment system with silver trim around the centre console, cruise control, reverse parking camera along with the other features offered on the Highline trim.

The Highline Plus trim is available on both petrol and diesel versions of the Polo. The 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 74 BHP @ 5,400 rpm and 110 Nm @ 3,750 rpm. The 1.5-litre diesel makes 89 BHP @ 4,200 rpm and 230 Nm @ 1,500-2,500 rpm. Both engines are available with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Volkswagen is yet to update their official website with the variant details and pricing however it is believed that the Polo Highline Plus variant may cost Rs. 26,000 over price of the Highline variant.
