Valet wrecks a Lamborghini!

There have been several incidents when valets have gifted car owners undesired scratches or dents on their cars. But how would you react if you were left with a Rs. 2 crore repair bill for an error by the valet?

The incident took place on July 3 at 2:30pm when the valet of Le Meridian Hotel, New Delhi, lost control of this Rs.3 crore, 560 bhp Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, and rammed it into a stationary car, before crashing a little ahead of the porch of the 5 star hotel.

Witnesses claim that all of a sudden the valet lost control of the supercar, which surged ahead, hit another vehicle in the way and merely missed another valet, who was standing close by. The raging bull finally came to a halt after crashing into the concrete railing of the rampart.

The frontal part of the car was completely damaged and the valet also suffered injuries.

The owner of the car was not present at the accident site. The car was taken to the hotel by his relatives. It seems that the valet had safely parked the car, earlier that afternoon and had brought it back almost all the way, without any issue, before losing control.

The owners of the car have filed a complaint against the valet and Le Meridien Hotel, after the hotel declined to compensate for the incident. The Gallardo was taken to the workshop on Tuesday night for repairs, where the repair bill is said to be estimated at a whopping Rs.2 crore!
